FUSO is a negociant project of Karim Vionnet made in close collaboration with Romain Paire, a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in the Cote Roannaise and a leading ambassador of the old, distinct 'Gamay Saint-Romain' selection grown in the Cotes du Forez (upper Loire, on the edge of Beaujolais and Burgundy). 'Game' -- an older, playful name for Gamay -- is 100% Gamay Saint-Romain from granite hillside vineyards farmed biodynamically, given a short maceration.
