Cutizzi takes its name from the vineyard in Santa Paolina, within the Greco di Tufo DOCG zone, near what was once the largest sulfur mine in southern Italy, a proximity that leaves its mark on the wine's mineral signature. Feudi di San Gregorio selects the thinnest-skinned Greco grapes for this bottling, aging it in steel on its lees with repeated batonnage before further time in bottle.
Tasting Notes
Pale yellow with golden reflections, showing green plum and pear on the nose with a touch of balsamic mint; the palate is marked by bright acidity, pronounced minerality and salinity.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs well with raw seafood, buffalo mozzarella, branzino and baked sea bream, and other delicate fish dishes.
