Profile & Story

For anyone who has visited Sonoma’s Wine country, they will know that Highway 12 is considered the “Wine Highway” spanning from Sebastopol in the Russian River Valley to the west, then rolling East through Sonoma Valley, Carneros, Napa Valley, California’s Delta Region and ending just past Lodi at the San Andreas Fault. Vineyard location and terrior are important to us. When crafting our Highway 12 Pinot Noir we traveled East along California’s Highway 12 to the California Delta Region just south of Clarksburg where we discovered a vineyard managed by a long time friend Ned Hill of La Prenda Vineyards.

Tasting Notes

Light garnet hue followed by a nose of bright red fruit aromas. Think bing cherry compote with allspice meets cranberry relish on the midpalate with a subtle cedar and green tea leaf finish. Balanced and clean, resulting from soft minerality and light tannins.
