Domaine Carrel & Senger has cultivated the limestone-marl slopes of Mont du Chat in Jongieux, Savoie since the early 19th century, with six generations tending vines historically devoted to the Altesse grape. Altitude 1161 Blanc marks the estate's first sparkling cuvee, an unusual blend of Gamay and Chardonnay made in the traditional method and aged on the lees for 24 months before disgorgement.
