Lise and Bertrand Jousset established their domaine in Montlouis-sur-Loire in 2004, farming without chemicals from the outset. Premier Rendez-vous, their first wine, blends fruit from eight parcels: forty-year-old vines on sandy, flint-strewn topsoil over limestone, and seventy-year-old vines on clay with flint over limestone. The wine is made with the aim of freshness, tension, and easy drinkability.

Pairs well as an aperitif, with charcuterie such as rillons and rillettes, fish prepared tartare, grilled, or poached, goat cheese, and aged Comte.
