Monte Bernardi sits in Panzano, in the Chianti Classico Grand Cru zone of Tuscany, where the Schmelzer family has farmed organically and biodynamically since 2003. Tzingarella is a 100% estate-grown blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Colorino from vines planted between 2006 and 2012 at 275-420 meters, on a mix of galestro, pietraforte, and alberese soils. Fermentation relies on native yeasts and the wine is bottled unfiltered.
