Pojer e Sandri was founded in 1975 by Mario Pojer and Fiorentino Sandri in Faedo, in Trentino's Alto Adige, an area now recognized as one of Italy's finest sites for Muller-Thurgau. The Palai vineyard sits at 550-750 meters on south-east-facing slopes, and the grapes are vinified using hyper-reduction, a low-oxygen technique the estate developed and patented to preserve the variety's aromatic character.
