Tiberio Colline Pescaresi Pecorino 2023

Agricola Tiberio farms in Cugnoli, in the hills above Pescara in Abruzzo, where the family rediscovered a handful of century-old Pecorino vines in 1999 and helped revive the variety through massal selection. This Pecorino comes from a 3.8-hectare, Guyot-trained plot planted in 2001 at 380 meters on limestone with a marly-gravel subsoil. Only free-run juice is used; fermentation proceeds with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, without malolactic conversion, and the wine rests unfined and unfiltered.
