The Wente family farms roughly 400 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon using two clones descended from California pioneer Charles Wetmore's 19th-century Bordeaux cuttings. The Southern Hills designation refers to vineyards along the southern hills of California's Central Coast, whose well-drained rocky soil shapes the wine's structure.
Tasting Notes
