Naia is the flagship white of Bodegas Naia in La Seca, part of the Rueda DO in Spain, made from 100% Verdejo. Fermentation is 70% in stainless steel and 30% in 10,000-liter French oak vats and 600-liter barrels, aged 4 months on lees.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow color with greenish hues, lively and bright. Intense on the nose with notes of stone fruits, fennel and wild herbs; potent and flavorful on the palate, highly fruity with balanced acidity and a lingering aftertaste.
Pairing Recommendation
Perfect for pairing with Asian cuisine, oily fish and white meats; equally pleasant with rice dishes and light stews.
