Profile & Story
Moët & Chandon has produced Champagne in Épernay since 1743. Brut Impérial, the house's signature non-vintage cuvée, carries nearly three centuries of that heritage.
Tasting Notes
Slightly golden straw yellow with delicate green glints. The nose opens with green apple and citrus, followed by a wave of mineral freshness and white flowers, then blonde notes of brioche, cereal and fresh nuts. The palate is generous yet subtle, with white-fleshed fruit (pear, white peach, apple) carried by fine, light bubbles, finishing with a soft citrus vivacity.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs with raw preparations such as sushi, sashimi and fruit carpaccio; fresh fruit alongside seafood (salty or spicy); rich, buttery preparations balanced by acidity (white butter with capers, avocado cream, caviar with lemon); and briny flavors like oysters and sea urchin.
