Profile & Story
Poças is an independent, family-owned Port house founded in 1918 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, one of the few Port producers to remain Portuguese-owned since founding. The 10 Year Old Tawny is a blend of wines from multiple harvests matured in 625-liter casks, with an average age of 10 years, from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Tinto Cão grown in Tabuaço, Ervedosa do Douro and Numão in the Douro Valley.
Tasting Notes
A woody bouquet of dried fruits and raisins, fruity and well matched with the wood; full-bodied, irresistible and complex, with a long-lasting finish of dried plums.

Splendid with cheeses, pastry, sweets, nuts, and light puddings and cakes.
