Cantina Gallura is a historic cooperative founded in 1956 in Tempio Pausania at the foot of Monte Limbara in northeastern Sardinia, uniting the work of growers farming vineyards between 500 and 600 meters altitude on granitic soils under strong sea ventilation. Canayli is the winery's Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Superiore bottling, made from 100% Vermentino grown in the upper Gallura hills, where altitude, granite-derived soils, and constant maritime breezes give the wine structure and longevity.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant straw yellow with golden reflections, Canayli shows a delicately fruity and floral aroma with notes of exotic fruit and green pepper; the palate is dry, full, balanced and elegant, with good persistence and the variety's characteristic pleasant bitter finish.
