Profile & Story

Donna Laura srl is based in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the Chianti Classico zone of Tuscany, and is affiliated with the Tolaini family of wine estates. The 'Ali' Rosato is 100% Sangiovese, named for owner Lia Tolaini-Banville's daughter. Grapes are harvested in late August and undergo field selection and optical sorting, followed by a brief two-hour skin contact before fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes

A pale pink Sangiovese rosato with a nose of strawberry, red cherry and pink grapefruit; the palate is crisp and light-bodied with refreshing acidity and ripe red-berry flavors of strawberry, raspberry and cranberry.
