Fattoria La Valentina was founded in 1990 on the hills above Spoltore near Pescara, run by the Di Properzio family (Sabatino, Roberto and Andrea) since their first vintage in 1994, with consulting enologist Luca D'Attoma. This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC is 100% Montepulciano, fermented and macerated about 10 days in steel, then aged roughly 18 months (80% in steel, 20% in oak).

Pairs with classic Abruzzo cured meats, pasta with garlic and olive oil, porchetta, arrosticini (grilled lamb skewers), grilled chicken, and fish stew.
