Matanzas Creek Winery has crafted site-expressive wines in Sonoma County since 1977 and is a Certified Sustainable Winery and International Wineries for Climate Action member. The 2024 Chenin Blanc combines fruit from River Junction, Alexander Valley, and Mendocino, hand-picked early to preserve the variety's signature acidity. The wine is fermented at low temperature and aged split between stainless steel and neutral French oak barrels and puncheons, with malolactic fermentation suppressed to keep a leaner, more angular profile.
