Picollo Ernesto is a family-owned estate in Rovereto di Gavi founded in 1945 by Lorenzo Picollo, now run by his grandson Gianlorenzo across three generations. The south-facing, 260-meter vineyards sit in one of Gavi's most prestigious sites, with clay-rich soils and constant maritime breezes creating a Mediterranean microclimate ideal for Cortese. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented exclusively in stainless steel at 64F, resting 4-6 weeks before bottling and a further 4-6 months in the cellar before release. ABV 13%.
