Profile & Story

Zardetto has been producing Prosecco for over 40 years from vineyards in the provinces of Venice and Treviso, in the heart of the Prosecco territory between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, and was among the first companies to introduce and distribute Prosecco outside Italy. The Prosecco Brut DOC is composed of 85% Glera (Prosecco) grapes and 15% Pinot Blanc-Chardonnay, vinified with the base wine held at controlled temperature before second fermentation in a pressurized tank at 15-16°C and cold stabilization for at least 30 days before filtering and bottling.

Tasting Notes

Straw-yellow with greenish reflections and a rich, fine, persistent perlage; fresh, floral and fruity on the nose with hints of acacia flowers, apricot and green apple; fresh and sapid on the palate, pleasantly acidic with citrus and green apple flavor.

Pairing Recommendation

Perfect as an aperitif; excellent throughout an entire meal.
