Profile & Story

Alexana Winery was founded in 2005 by cardiologist Dr. Madaiah Revana on an 80-acre estate in the Dundee Hills, built around a three-story gravity-flow winery. The Terroir Series Pinot Noir is a Willamette Valley-wide blend drawing from the young Revana Vineyard blocks alongside Fennwood, Crawford Beck and Zena Crown vineyards, each parcel fermented separately with native yeast before resting 10-11 months in French oak. Winemaker Bryan Weil selects individual barrels each spring to build a balanced, multi-terroir expression of the valley.

Tasting Notes

Wild cherry and berry aromas meet violet and spice over an earthy background, with a fresh, medium-bodied palate of cherry and forest floor. Restaurant's Notes: cherry cola, blood orange, and wet earth with structured tannins and a long finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Good with roasted poblano chicken or mushroom-based mole dishes.
