Profile & Story
Alta Colina is a family-owned Paso Robles Rhone specialist founded in 2003 by Bob Tillman on a 130-acre westside property. Ann's Block, named for Bob's mother-in-law who planted the vineyard's first vines, began as a half-acre of Petite Sirah intended only for blending but proved compelling enough on its own to become a stand-alone bottling starting with the 2007 vintage.
Tasting Notes
A dense, espresso-tinged Petite Sirah with powerful, polished tannin. Restaurant's Notes: Blackberry compote, blueberry, cocoa nib, espresso, black pepper; dense and powerful with gripping yet polished tannins.

Pairs with grilled steak or a braised short rib.
