Ancient Peaks Winery farms the estate Margarita Vineyard in the Santa Margarita Ranch AVA, the southernmost and one of the coolest sites in the greater Paso Robles region; its volcanic, shale, and alluvial soils have made the vineyard's Zinfandel one of the area's most acclaimed. This vintage blends fruit from multiple vineyard blocks, aged in a mix of French and American oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

A balanced, structured Zinfandel showing the cool-climate elegance of its coastal vineyard. Restaurant's Notes: Blackberry, boysenberry, black pepper, vanilla, cocoa; full and fruit-forward with plush tannins and a peppery lift.
