Brave & Maiden Estate, named for the indigenous 'Legend of Nojoqui,' is a Santa Barbara County producer whose sustainably farmed estate sits in the Santa Ynez Valley. Union has been the estate's proprietary flagship blend since 2011, pairing Rhône-variety Syrah with Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc — proportions shift by vintage — aged in French oak.

Tasting Notes

Bold and aromatic, this proprietary blend pairs dark berry fruit with violets and warm baking spice over a silky, full-bodied frame. Restaurant's Notes: Blackberry, cassis, violets, mocha, baking spices; full-bodied with silky tannins and a warm, spice-laden finish.
