Profile & Story
Burn Cottage is a biodynamically farmed estate in Central Otago, New Zealand, founded in 2002 by Marquis and Dianne Sauvage with Ted Lemon of Littorai as head winemaker and vineyard manager. The estate works almost entirely in Pinot Noir, farmed to full biodynamic certification across its Lowburn home vineyard.
Tasting Notes
Bright red berry fruit with wild herb lift and a taut, stony finish. Restaurant's Notes: Black raspberry, boysenberry, thyme, wild sage, graphite; concentrated yet vibrant with fine tannins and a stony finish.
