Profile & Story

Castiel Estate is an 88-acre Howell Mountain property owned by Dave and Kathleen DiCesaris, farmed by noted viticulturist Jim Barbour and crafted since the 2014 vintage by acclaimed winemaker Celia Welch. The estate produces only about 350 cases a year of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from volcanic tuff and gravelly loam soils, prized for concentrated, age-worthy mountain fruit.
