Caymus Vineyards was founded in 1972 by Chuck Wagner and his parents Lorna and Charlie Sr. with just 240 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon; the family remains 100% owner-operated today. Fruit is drawn from low-fertility valley-floor and mountain sites farmed with high-density plantings and dry farming, harvested at elevated ripeness for Caymus's signature dark, rich style.
