Profile & Story

Chappellet was founded in 1967 by Donn and Molly Chappellet on Pritchard Hill, Napa Valley, terraced volcanic terrain first planted in 1882 and now shared with neighbors like Colgin and Bryant Family. 'Mountain Cuvée,' the estate's Proprietor's Blend, draws on Chappellet's own mountain-grown Bordeaux varietals along with fruit from other Napa and Sonoma vineyards under longtime winemaker Phillip Corallo-Titus; the 2022 vintage blends 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, 6% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc.

Tasting Notes
