Profile & Story

DAOU Family Estates was founded by brothers Georges and Daniel Daou on DAOU Mountain, at 2,200 feet in the Adelaida District west of Paso Robles. The Reserve Chardonnay is barrel-fermented and aged roughly 11-15 months in French oak, about half of it new, yielding a richer, more opulent style than the estate's standard bottling.

Tasting Notes

A rich, barrel-driven Paso Robles Chardonnay with tropical fruit and toasted-oak spice at its core. Restaurant's Notes: Mango, pineapple, lemon cream, vanilla bean, toasted oak; rich and layered with fresh lift.

Pairing Recommendation

Pairs well with creamy poblano soup, roast pork, or grilled scallops.
