Profile & Story
Saint-Esprit is Maison Delas Frères' signature Côtes-du-Rhône cuvée, blending 54% Grenache, 28% Syrah, 9% Marselan, 5% Mourvèdre, and 4% Carignan from across the appellation's finest terroirs. The destemmed grapes are extracted through daily pump-overs under controlled temperature, aged primarily in stainless steel with select lots in oak, for a minimum of 12 months before bottling.
Tasting Notes
A dark, plum-like hue with classic aromatics of berry fruit, violet, and licorice; full and round on the palate with delicate tannins. Restaurant's Notes: Wild strawberry, raspberry, white pepper, garrigue, orange zest; medium-bodied and lively with silky tannins.
Pairing Recommendation
Flank steak, potato rösti, and sautéed chanterelles.
