Profile & Story
Les Launes is Delas's classic Crozes-Hermitage bottling, sourced across the appellation's granite and alluvial soils in the Northern Rhone's largest AOC. Made primarily from Syrah with a small allowance of Marsanne or Roussanne, it ages partly in barrel and partly in tank to preserve fresh, direct fruit character.
Tasting Notes
A fresh, peppery Crozes-Hermitage with firm tannin and dark-fruited depth. Restaurant's Notes: Blackberry, black olive, violet, cracked pepper, smoked meat; medium-plus body with firm, fine tannins and a graphite finish.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs well with grilled sausage or roasted duck.
