Profile & Story

Domaine des Deux Roches, in the village of Davayé in the Mâconnais, was founded in 1985 by Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray, taking its name from the twin limestone escarpments of Solutré and Vergisson that overlook the estate. The Tradition Mâcon-Villages is a blend of well-exposed limestone parcels, vinified in stainless steel with lees aging for added texture.

Tasting Notes

An easy-drinking, unoaked Mâconnais Chardonnay with generous stone-fruit character and a soft, round texture. Restaurant's Notes: Golden apple, Bartlett pear, lemon cream, hazelnut, chalk; medium-bodied with gentle oak and a bright, saline lift.
