Domenico Clerico is a benchmark Monforte d'Alba producer, credited as one of the 'Barolo Boys' who helped pioneer Barolo's more fruit-forward modern style in the 1980s. This estate Barolo DOCG blends the winery's best Monforte d'Alba plots, planted between 1968 and 2005 on limestone-rich soils, into a wine meant to express the character of the commune as a whole.

Tasting Notes

A polished, mineral-driven Monforte d'Alba Barolo with tightly wound structure. Restaurant's Notes: Sour cherry, rose, tar, anise, blood orange, cedar; tightly wound tannins and a long, mineral finish.
