Profile & Story

EnRoute was established in the Russian River Valley in 2007 by the partners of Napa Valley's Far Niente winery, devoted entirely to Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Les Pommiers, the winery's flagship cuvee introduced in 2009, is named for the apple orchards that once grew on the property and blends fruit primarily from Green Valley and the upper Middle Reach area. The 2022 vintage benefited from a near-ideal growing season, and the wine is aged in a mix of new and neutral French oak to preserve the site's vibrant, elegant character.

Tasting Notes

Vibrant ruby in color, with sweet cinnamon, cola, and cherry aromas and a delicate palate of dried rose petal and berry pie. Restaurant's Notes: A silky, aromatic russian river valley pinot noir from far niente's sister winery, with bright cherry and warm spice.
