Hartford Family Winery was founded in 1993 by Don and Jennifer Hartford in Forestville, in the heart of the Russian River Valley. The Hartford Court label focuses on small-lot, vineyard-expressive Chardonnay and Pinot Noir; the Russian River Valley Chardonnay draws on a collection of estate and neighboring vineyards, hand-harvested and barrel fermented with indigenous yeast.
Tasting Notes
A generous, vineyard-driven Russian River Chardonnay with the region's signature marriage of ripe fruit and bright acidity. Restaurant's Notes: Baked apple, pear, lemon curd, vanilla, hazelnut, buttered brioche; vibrant acidity with a creamy mid-palate.
