Goldschmidt Vineyards was founded by New Zealand-born vintners Nick and Yolyn Goldschmidt, who focus on single-vineyard Cabernet from Northern California. The Hilary bottling comes from the Charming Creek vineyard in Oakville, planted in 1980 to old Clone 7 Cabernet Sauvignon, prized for perfumed aromatics, silky texture, and graceful aging.
