Profile & Story

Lang & Reed is a St. Helena producer founded by Tracey and John Skupny in 1993, built around a rare single-varietal focus on Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc. The North Coast bottling draws largely on Alexander Valley's T-bar-T Ranch and Lake County's Quercus Ranch, farmed for aromatic lift rather than weight.

Tasting Notes

Ripe cassis, red and black cherry, and plum with violets, cocoa nib, and sweet tobacco; medium-plus body with lively acidity and fine, silky tannins.
