Mary Taylor Wine is a Brooklyn-based négociant label built around single-grower "appellation" wines from across Europe. This Bordeaux Blanc is sourced from Jean Marc Barthez, president of a small cooperative winery in Monségur in the Entre-Deux-Mers, and is a 95% Sauvignon Blanc / 5% Sémillon blend fermented without oak. The label's mission is to connect drinkers directly with individual European growers at honest prices.
Tasting Notes
Textbook Entre-Deux-Mers white: gooseberry and grapefruit with a bitter-green snap on the finish. Restaurant's Notes: Grapefruit, gooseberry, lime zest, cut grass, flinty mineral; crisp and zesty with a saline snap.
