Profile & Story

This was Monte Xanic's very first wine, produced in 1988 as the winery's founding release. The current bottling is a Chenin Blanc/French Colombard blend from the winery's Valle de Guadalupe estate vineyards, combining Chenin's honeyed stone-fruit character with Colombard's bright acidity. It remains one of Monte Xanic's most recognized wines among longtime customers for its quality-to-price ratio.

Tasting Notes

Monte Xanic's founding wine — honeyed quince and pear balanced by a French Colombard backbone of acidity. Restaurant's Notes: Quince, ripe pear, honeysuckle, lemon curd, light beeswax; medium body with zesty acidity and a smooth, chalky finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Excellent with fish tacos, ceviche, or mild curries.
