Profile & Story

Pieropan is synonymous with fine Soave, farming since the 1880s and among the first producers to label wines "Soave" in the 1930s and to bottle single-vineyard crus in the 1970s. This entry-level Soave Classico is made from estate-grown Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave in the heart of the Soave Classico zone, offering a fresher, more immediate style than the family's celebrated Calvarino and La Rocca crus. The roughly 60-hectare Soave holding is certified organic.

Tasting Notes

The gateway to serious Soave — white peach and almond with the saline minerality Pieropan is known for. Restaurant's Notes: Lemon blossom, white peach, almond, bitter orange; crisp, saline, clean finish.

Pairing Recommendation

A classic match for risotto, fried calamari, or fresh shellfish.
