Profile & Story

Pine Ridge Vineyards was founded in 1978 by Gary Andrus on a terraced hillside in the Stags Leap District, and today farms estate vineyards across five Napa Valley sub-appellations: Stags Leap District, Rutherford, Carneros, Howell Mountain, and Oakville. The Napa Valley Cabernet blends fruit from all five sites, giving winemaker Michael Beaulac a wide palette for a layered, complex wine.

Tasting Notes

Black cherry and cassis with scorched coffee and vanilla; ripe, medium-to-full-bodied with sweet, well-integrated tannins. Restaurant's Notes: Blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite, dark chocolate, cedar; structured with firm tannins and a long, polished finish.

Pairing Recommendation

A good match for smoked ribs or a grilled tomahawk steak.
