Santa Margherita, founded in the late 1950s by Count Gaetano Marzotto, pioneered the modern Italian Pinot Grigio style by vinifying the grape's naturally pink-tinted skins as a white wine without skin contact — a technique that made the winery an icon in the US market and one of the most imported Italian white wines in the world. This Alto Adige Pinot Grigio is sourced from Trentino-Alto Adige vineyards and fermented and aged briefly in stainless steel for a clean, fresh style.
