Profile & Story

The Stanton family has grown grapes in Napa Valley since 1947, and today Doug Stanton and his father John farm three small vineyards in Oakville and St. Helena. Stanton Vineyards is a boutique operation producing only about 800 cases total per year, with winemaking by Dave Phinney of Orin Swift.

Tasting Notes

Cassis, black cherry, and espresso with cedar and pencil shavings; full-bodied with structured tannins and a long, graphite-lined finish.
