Profile & Story

Tenuta di Biserno is the estate Lodovico Antinori launched near Bibbona on the Tuscan coast, following his earlier work founding Ornellaia. Il Pino di Biserno is the property's more approachable second wine, a blend led by Cabernet Franc with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a touch of Petit Verdot, with exact proportions changing every vintage. The wines draw on Bibbona's coastal terroir, which shares broad growing conditions with neighboring Bolgheri.

Tasting Notes

Dark fruit and Mediterranean scrub aromas lead into a fresh, full palate wrapped in fine, well-integrated tannins. Restaurant's Notes: Blackcurrant, dark cherry, Mediterranean herbs, graphite, cedar; structured and vibrant with fine-grained tannins.
