Profile & Story

Vietti is based in Castiglione Falletto, and this Barolo is made entirely from Nebbiolo. Alcoholic fermentation runs three to four weeks in stainless steel, and the wine ages 30 months, mostly in large barrels with a small portion in barrique.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red of medium intensity with aromas of plum, red and ripe black cherry, blackberry, rose petal, and tobacco; the palate is classic, rich, and potent, with alpine herb notes, well-integrated tannins, and a leathery finish. Restaurant's Notes: Sour cherry, rose, tar, anise, orange peel; firm, fine tannins and a long, savory finish.
