Vivier Wines is helmed by Stéphane Vivier, a Burgundy-trained winemaker often cited among California's leading Chardonnay specialists. The Sonoma Coast bottling comes from the Flocchini Vineyard, planted to a heritage Wente-selection Chardonnay clone originally brought from Meursault to California in the 1890s, and is aged roughly 18 months in French oak.

Tasting Notes

A Burgundian-minded Sonoma Coast Chardonnay — taut, saline, and precise, often likened to a California cousin of Meursault. Restaurant's Notes: Citrus blossom, green apple, lemon zest, flinty minerality, light brioche; focused and saline.
