Domaine Brusset has farmed in Cairanne, below the Dentelles de Montmirail, since André Brusset founded the estate in 1947; it is now run by his grandson Laurent across seventy hectares of south-facing terraces. 'Les Travers' rouge blends roughly 60% Grenache with Syrah, Carignan and Mourvèdre.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby-red, with an elegant nose of blackcurrant and elderberry; the palate is full and concentrated, with silky tannins, blackcurrant and cherry fruit, and a peppery, spiced finish.
