Massaya was founded by the Ghosn brothers of Lebanon's Bekaa Valley in partnership with Rhône winemaking families Brunier and Hébrard. 'Le Colombier' takes its name from the dovecote on the Tanaïl estate, where doves return to nest each year; it blends Grenache Noir, Cinsault and Tempranillo from vines roughly forty years old, grown on chalky clay hillsides at 900–1,200 meters, hand-picked and destemmed, fermented in stainless steel and aged a year in vat.
