Zephyr Wells is a Willamette Valley label crafted by winemaker Ben, who spent more than two decades making wine in New Zealand before turning his attention to Oregon; the wines are produced at The Valley Room collective in Dundee. This Mencía — an unusual planting for the Willamette Valley — comes from the volcanic-basalt and marine-sediment soils of Eola Springs Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills, a tiny production of 112 cases.
