Profile & Story

Conserva Rosé. Entry Level. Type: Rosé. Country: Portugal. Designation: Vinho Verde DOC. Region: Vinho Verde. Vintage 2025. Best within 2 to 3 years. Soil: Granite, sandy. Climate: Mild with Atlantic influence. Winemaker: José Oliveira. Grape Varieties: 30% Vinhão, 50% Borraçal, 20% Espadeiro. Fixed Acidity 6.0 g/L, Volatile Acidity <0.20 g/L, Total Sugar 10 g/L, Alcohol 9.5% vol. Winemaking: This Vinho Verde is the result of a blend of different red grape varieties from the region. These grapes come from vineyards trained using the single-cordon system, with an average age of 25 years. Careful vinification is employed to extract the maximum quality potential and preserve the primary aromas. Once the vinification process is complete, the wine is kept in vats before being stabilised and bottled. Gluten-free and free from animal products. Created to feed armies, canned fish has long ceased to be a pantry emergency kit. Portugal is famous for its production since the 19th century, and there is no better marriage than a refreshing Vinho Verde and a tasty canned fish in olive oil.

Tasting Notes

It has a pinkish colour with subtle aromas of red fruits and a balanced acidity that lends it freshness, liveliness and lightness.
