Domaine du Cellier aux Moines, founded in 1130 by Cistercian monks and today led by Philippe and Catherine Pascal, is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy and the first certified organic and biodynamic producer in Givry. Clos Pascal is a forgotten monopole vineyard within the historic Cellier walls, replanted by the Pascal family and now farmed under winemaker Guillaume Marko, a Domaine de la Romanee-Conti alumnus.
Tasting Notes
Vibrant red fruit with layered complexity -- fresh cherry, wild raspberry, and blackberry alongside a smoky minerality reflecting the vineyard's terroir; a silky texture leads to a long finish of spiced oak and fresh herbs.
