Marchese Dalmasso farms hillside vineyards in Piedmont's Langhe, led by the Dalmasso family's agronomist sons. Their Barbaresco DOCG comes from Nebbiolo grown on clay-limestone soils between 180 and 400 meters, built for long aging with peak expression at 10-15 years.
Tasting Notes
Bright ruby developing garnet tones with age; dark forest berries, black cherry, and violet meet green pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg, with leather and toasted hazelnut emerging over time in a full-bodied, firmly tannic wine.
